Where it all began

The first version of Remember This Hat! brought together everything needed for a personal card index: folders, decks, and cards you can create and review right in the browser. Foreign words, historical dates, professional terms, or exam questions — the library is designed so you can collect whatever matters to you.

I created two review modes. In “By time”, you choose when to see a card again. In “By memory difficulty”, you mark how well you remember the answer: difficult cards return more often, while learned ones can leave the rotation. Both sides of a card support text formatting, keeping definitions, examples, and explanations easy to read.

You can begin without signing up. Your library and progress stay in your browser, while a library file lets you make a backup or move your studies to another device. Existing Anki decks can be imported into Remember This Hat! The interface is available in English, Russian, and Kazakh, with Light, Dark, and signature Hat themes for comfortable study.
